the story
Megamagro is a collection of finest selected design-related stuff from all over the world.
We love minimalism, modernism, grids, slick design, polaroids, fashion, vinyl records, pizza, coffee and spaghetti.
Our name, which doesn't really mean something in any language, is just the combination of two opposites: Mega (which is Mega of course) and Magro (which is Thin in Italian), and it was born from serendipity.

The Javascript framework is JQuery, but the website works for 90% also with javascript disabled.

Logo made in a dirty room
Site design, mostly in grayscale, is based on Blueprint CSS Framework using Boks made by Quentin T.
Baseline grid is spaced at 12 pixels.
Typography is exclusively based on Times New Roman designed by Stanley Morison and Victor Lardent.
Both logo and colors palette are the emphatic visual representation of the contrast expressed by the name itself.
